This was a classic game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Minnesota Vikings; played January 12th, 1975, completing the 1974 season. Super Bowl 9 was the first Super Bowl win for the legendary Steelers and there were many men from both teams who would go into the professional football Hall Of Fame , including both coaches; Chuck Noll, Bud Grant, and both quarterbacks; Terry Bradshaw and Fran Tarkington. The New England Patriots played football in 1974 and ironically played both of these great teams beating Minnesota and losing to Pittsburgh.
